OUR MISSION
We are in a unique position to understand how assistive technology can help encouraging learning and development. We know this because we've lived it. One of our founders used assistive technologies during their studies at university. Whilst one of our founder teaches and assesses the needs of students and professionals alike, giving a unique insight into the educational assistive landscape.
We are a team with a unique understanding. We've used this to help aid and influence our mission: to create assistive technologies that empower individuals with the confidence and independence they need. Whether in their studies or in their daily professional work flow.
Our aim is to empower people.
Richard has 20 years of experience providing technical and ergonomic assessments for the DSA, Access to Work, as well as financial institutions, legal firms and government departments. He has written articles, given talks, and enjoyed every moment.

Andrew has over 30 years experience writing code for banks, governments and the military, focusing on developing applications that draw users in and get their job done with the minimum of fuss in sometimes difficult environments. Building applications for the education sector with this team is an opportunity I couldn’t turn down!

Empowering Students, Improving Access: A mission statement but who are we, where did we come from and what is our vision?
Founded in 2023, Two Fires Education emerged from the collaborative vision of two friends; a seasoned software developer Andy – known for his worn keyboard and an eye for detail, and Richard an assistive technology assessor with two decades of experience in assistive technologies working with universities across the UK. They had the foundational knowledge and the know-how and soon realised they were missing a creative spark. This led them to Andrew, a designer and app developer with a flair for innovation. Between them, they formed Two Fires Education.
At Two Fires Education, we're committed to transforming the educational landscape. We create software to help people discover information, comprehend and absorb information and knowledge. Our products encourage confidence and independence, carving a pathway to achieving academic excellence.
